Ilaria Macedonio is an Italian musician, specialized in Harpsichord and Early Music Performance. Born in Assisi into a family almost entirely composed by professional musicians, Ilaria began her piano studies at the age of seven, winning her first piano competition aged eight. She debuted as a soloist with orchestra at the age of thirteen years old, playing Mozart's Piano Concerto K 414 in Umbria and Lazio (Italy), and later on she graduated in Piano with first-class honours. From 2013 Ilaria has been studying Early Music at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen (Denmark) and in 2015 she graduated in Harpsichord and Historical Keyboards with first class honours. In 2017/18 Ilaria continued to specialize in Historical Performance on the Artist Diploma course at the Royal College of Music, London. She has performed in various places such as the Southbank Centre in London, Greenwich's International Exhibition of Early Music, Mottisfont Abbey's National Museum (UK), Frederiksberg Slotskirke, KoncertKirken and Garnisons Kirke (Copenhagen, DK), both as a soloist and with many different ensembles, including the baroque orchestra Concerto Copenhagen led by Lars Ulrik Mortensen.
